Today is my fourth day of the self-imposed 12 days of Christmas styling challenge. I'm just now realizing the lyrics are "colly birds", I always sang "calling birds". Nevermind, these colly birds are just good old fashioned blackbirds.
Here goes:

Honestly, this looks like more of an Edgar Allen Poe interpretation of "collie bird", but when I saw this killer feather necklace, I just couldn't help myself. And frankly, sometimes a little goth glam just feels right.
So what do we have here? I found this amazing feather necklace from TONIMAY. It's handcrafted and adorned with agate, turquoise and vintage charms and a steal at $110. It will look so dramatic over the Iron Petticoat black silk shirt.
A leather skirt paired with just about anything is my usual "what to wear?" go-to. This forest green T by Alexander Wang version is a really nice alternative to black.
I'd finish the look with some classic tough-girl accessories including Nicholas Kirkwood leather booties, a Repossi ear cuff (Santa, are you reading this?!?), Tom Binns pyramid studs, a House of Harlow cuff and an architectural bag by Kotur. Finally, a sweep of Tom Ford plum lipstick and you're good to go!
