VAUGHAN and the Smart Girls

The Smart Girls Group was born when Emily Raleigh wrote a book about succeeding in High School and gave it to her younger sister, Sophie. Unsurprisingly, Sophie was thrilled with the advice and the idea snowballed. They decided to write a magazine to help the little sisters of the world succeed. Today, women and girls from all over the globe are using the platform to connect, share advice and encourage one another.

The Girls' goal? "To see our Smart Girl Sisters in corner offices, spearheading movements, leading nations, and sharing their smarts in their own unique way".

At VAUGHAN we are all about celebrating women's successes from the once-in-a-lifetime goal smashing achievements to the every day small victories. We understand the unique challenges that women and girls face so we were psyched to come across this fantastic organization. When asked to collaborate on the Holiday issue of their magazine, we were thrilled.

Photographer Ana Colliton, stylist Rachel Zambernardi and models Sonya and Kelsey hit New York City to take in the festive magic. You can read the full article featuring VAUGHAN here or check out the images below:

I've never paired the Love Affair shirt with a white skirt, but it looks really fresh. The tartan scarf and gold necklace add a nice touch of Holiday polish.

Who says you have to retire shorts just because it's winter? Wear them with a black silk blouse, tights and a snugly wool coat.

Lemon yellow and a rich plum look so decadent together. Go all out with the rich burgundy Journey into Night shirt or tone it down with the classic white Lion in Winter.

Notice-me leather trousers are played perfectly with a demure emerald green silk shirt. We love the texture play.

I have to say this was one of my all-time favorite shoots. The girls look they're having a blast and enjoying the sights of my once-hometown of NYC. Well done girls!
