I'm beyond excited for tomorrow's pop up shop with a couple of Hong Kong's most favorite local brands, Kasané and A Boy Named Sue.
The event is centered around kick starting your work-wear wardrobe, specifically for those desk-to-dinner days. I thought for today's white shirt Wednesday post, I'd give you a little sneak peek as to what you can expect to see at the pop up and show you how I would style the pieces. I've done a retro 70s style and also something a little more modern to show the versatility of these amazing pieces.
A Boy Named Sue has tons of simple, chic and eco-friendly pieces that are just perfect for wearing to the office and beyond. I'm loving the Ida vegan leather skirt and their Cashwool folk jacket. Two completely different pieces that will surely be in constant play.
Kasané jewels are going to be perfect whether you're a minimalist or a total maximalist. The individual pieces are lovely and dainty but layered and stacked they make a major impact. My most favorite the pearl bar ring and the gold chain ring, each take classic styles and strip them of any preciousness, making endlessly wearable pieces.
Office worthy retro styling
Much as I love 70s inspired styling, it can definitely feel a bit costumey. My solution is to style with pared down pieces and limit the accessories. I'm obsessed with this vegan leather a-line skirt (it also comes in a rich wine color). The nude color is divine and it is the perfect foundation to a 70s inspired look. The stacked boots and floppy hat are great, and I like the way the Kasané ring brings us firmly back to 2015.

Modern classics take you from nine to five
I'm a big believer in great jackets. They have the power to mask so many sartorial sins, from holes and wrinkles to insufficient accessorizing. A great jacket will have you looking polished and even keep you warm. As you can imagine, I was super psyched to discover this little number. I'd pair it with slim trousers, sleek pumps and a classic shirt. A statement ring and adds a nice little something extra.

With that said, we hope to see you tomorrow. Happy shopping!
