For me, the best part about Christmas truly is giving. Nothing feels better than spoiling a loved one or coming up with the perfect surprise gift. December gets crazy pretty quickly so if you're still undecided on what to get your nearest and dearest, here's some inspiration:
Buying for the women in my life is the easiest. Every woman wants something luxurious and glamorous, even if it is as simple as a Chanel lipstick. Clockwise: sparkly drop earrings add a bit of drama and will take her beyond New Years. An extravagant shoe heats up any outfit. Festive tableware adds elegance to her table and showcases her personal style. Pink Champagne is a gift you can share. A whimsical cashmere sweater is a rare combination of practical and fun. A richly hued clutch will take her winter wardrobe into spring.
And lastly, the VAUGHAN shirt, of course! I chose the Glass Menagerie blouse in black. It's got a splash of crystal accents for a laid back yet luxe way to celebrate the holidays in style.
Men, on the other hand, can be tricky. It's gotta be cool and it's gotta be practical (or at least delicious).
From the top left: Air Force Ones are always a winner. Try a bold color combination to add some excitement. In my family, we barbeque year round. The Christmas turkey is on the grill and Dad's sole responsibility. Drop a not-so-subtle hint with a new set of barbeque tools. A beautiful shaving set adds some elegance to his morning routine. A sharp skinny tie injects Mad Men cool into the work week while a retro Casio watch is flashy in the best possible way. Dominoes are an old school family gift made chic by this slim case. Guys on the go need great stylish luggage and a comfy cardigan that looks as good as it feels. If all else fails, a great bottle of whiskey always pleases and will warm him up while he barbeques.
What are your go-to gifts?
