I love this piece from Jessica Code. They've shown how to take a pair of lipstick red notice-me trousers and style 4 unique looks:

Top left: They've paired the trousers with a clashing coral jacket, which I kind of love. The head-to-toe suit look is a bit stiff for my taste so the coral jacket adds structure while keeping it fresh. To finish off the look, they've gone with super luxe basics: the classic Celine Trapeze bag, Balmain studded sandals and the VAUGHAN glass menagerie shirt in black. I love the way the studded crystal collar elevates the look just enough.
Top right: Individually, I like all of these pieces but I'm concerned it would look a bit busy in the flesh. That said, yellow is one of my most favorite colors and the Longchamp bag and Zara blouse are dreamy. The Proenza Schouler booties definitely add a bit of edge and balance the lacy biker jacket and Blair Waldorf inspired bow.
Bottom left: The cleanest, most conservative way to style these pants. I'm loving the biker vest, I imagine it would be a great 3-season layering piece. The beaded necklace keeps it looking summery while the Hogan messenger and Rupert Sanderson sandals look polished.
Bottom right: And finally, the most complicated styling... yikes! A peplum top is kind of a no-brainer and perfect for a casual date but Jessica Code has seriously upped the ante by layering it (I assume) over a black sheer shirt. This could be cute, if the fit is perfect. The boots are great and give a little nod to the sheer elements of the shirt. Much as I love the scarf and bag, I'd save them for another day. Less is more in this case.
