Vaughan x Edit

Edit 67 is one of my favorite local boutiques.  They stock established and emerging designers, vintage and amazing finds from international markets and bazaars.  In other words, it's like shopping one of the Cool Kid's closets.

The girls from Edit have paired some of their favorite pieces with Vaughan shirts (now available in-store). The results are a quirky cool mashup of easy-to-wear casual color.  Behold:

I'm loving printed trousers, they're such a fun and unexpected way to make a major color statement.  The black blouse makes the pants more wearable while also keeping that acid green color away from the face. The Converse sneakers and bright yellow shades make it fun and casual.

Vaughan black silk shirt (Iron Petticoat), TIBI printed trousers, Sheriff & Cherry sunglasses, models own Converse.

Same trousers, whole new look.  Once the weather heats up, ditch the black and opt for a fresh white shirt. This look is perfect for a lazy Sunday brunch or sun-downers by the sea.

Vaughan white silk shirt (Lion in Winter), TIBI printed trousers, Sheriff & Cherry sunglasses, TIBI shoes.

Now this look is proof that more really is more sometimes. Yes, these yellow trousers would look fresh with white or navy, but why not go for the full monochromatic impact with this orange blouse?  I love the minimalist sandals and mod sunnies.

Vaughan Keeper of the Flame shirt, Tibi trousers and shoes, LOTHO sunglasses.

I've decided that a great leather skirt is something every girl should own.  It's a perfect option for those nights when you don't know what to wear.  It's dressy, cool and never boring.  This skirt looks great paired with a plum silk shirt.  It's polished but you won't look like you're trying too hard. The clashing blue sunnies remind the world what a bad ass you are.
